Květa is one of the last artists specializing in Chodsko region ceramics today. She has been painting since she was fifteen. The ceramic material for her own use is mixed from the imported raw materials (kaolin, clays, feldspar, etc.) according to her own recipe. She uses gypsum molds of various kinds to produce individual pieces. Glazed products are fired at 1140C ° during the main firing in the furnace. When finally painted, the products are fired again at 760C °.
