Olga Divišová

Olga focuses on handmade original ceramics, mostly made on the wheel, but also tries to make new playful objects. She also experiments with different glazes and new technology and materials.

Her inspiration comes from her Grandma’s cupboard, their country house loft space. She loves filling her flat with old furniture and vintage items that have the souls of generations that used to use it.

Although working with clay is incredibly rewarding, it can be also tough. For example, when you open the kiln with your face filled with hope, and then you realise the whole load can be thrown out of the window… But she can honestly say that she is happy and is doing the right thing.
